PROCESSORS

The processor is a small chip found on all computers. Its job is to handle all the basic system instructions, like processing the input of your devices or running an application. This processors can handle billions of calculations per second. The speed of it is measured in hertz. For a processor every time you execute an instruction for it to do it follows a cycle called clocks per cycle. The faster the computer does the cycle the faster your execution gets processed. Companies that manufacture processors are: AMD, INTEL, NVIDIA, IBM, QUALCOMM, and SUN.
