SAMSUNG NX300

Samsung is a popular brand when it comes to TV’s and phones. Many people don’t think that Samsung is good at making cameras. There new NX300 is about to prove them wrong. This camera comes with a 20.3 megapixel CMOS APS-C sensor. It uses contrast and phase detection to ensure a good quality picture. It can record a good amount of 8.6 frame pictures per second. However the camera still has some little defects to it. First you have to compose your images only on the 3.31 inch AMOLED display since you have no way to add an electronic viewfinder, doing so can be tough in direct sunlight. Also the battery doesn’t last long hours of shooting sessions. The camera comes in different colours which are white, silver, black and brown. The controls are well positioned and accurate for photo shooting. It even has a Wi-Fi direct link button that when pressed options to mobile link, remote viewfinder, auto backup, email, social networks and cloud storage appear for you to choose from. This function proved well with iOS devices, once you have a smart camera app you can interact with the devices with your iOS device. With the app you can use your device as a remote release with the remote view finder function. You can also store the image in your smartphones.  The image quality the NX300 produces are all excellent pictures. The color is quite pleasing, skin tones and foliage are a bit more saturated when compared to other cameras. It is one of the best mirror less models ever made. Samsung also includes smart mode and smart filtering settings. This are creative options to help you capture the shots you want. An example would be the beauty face smart mode it allows you to smooth textures and take even better pictures, in 2 seconds you have a retouched image right on the AMOLED screen. Bottom line for this camera is that it is great product from Samsung that you would like.

 

 

Bugs in the iOS 7

Some people who use the iOS 7 find that some of the features don’t work properly. One that people don’t like is the control centre easy access. It was designed for the person to swipe the screen from the bottom and it was supposed to appear, however sometimes it doesn’t seem to work and requires more than one swipe to be accessed. People also disapprove of the waste of space in the home screen. The screen can only display nine apps, compared to the older version that can display up to twenty apps. People now have to perform a number of taps and swipes just to access one app. Another defect the people found in the iOS 7 is the email groups in mail. The iOS mail has improved steadily on all updates however it doesn’t support sending to email groups, and the contacts app still doesn’t allow you to create this groups. Also the mail no longer puts the last used mailbox on top you need to scroll down every time. Apart from all this bugs people also complain about the accessibility of media. Before in the iOS 6 you could easily resume listening to your last played track by clicking on the home button and opening media control where you can easily resume your track. Now in the iOS 7 most people disable control centre for security reasons and can’t get access to their media control.  In order to do so you have to unlock your phone and open your music player to continue playing your music. The new app indicator also needs fixing since people say it’s hard to see. The folders icon is also hard to figure out it is easy to confuse with a bookmark icon. These are some of the bugs we found out about the iOS7.

 

LIkes of the iOS 7

 

The IOS 7 is now been along for some time now and the people showed what they like and don’t like about it. An innovation that the people liked about it is the compass and navigation system. It now comes more efficient and gives accurate information to where you’re going.  People also liked the wish list from the iTunes store, every time they want a song they just write it on their wish list and it is stored there and they can later look at it and see which song to buy. The wish list was something that couldn’t be accessed in previous models. The new short names in mail and messaging was also something people approved. They had the option to shorten their friends name to whatever they wanted either nickname or initials of the person’s name, so whenever they got a message from them only what they selected was visible. Another huge like from people was the remainder app. It reminds you of something you wanted to do. For example if you are going to work and you need to call someone your will remind you of your agenda.  So if you often forget things this would be your new best friend. The timer on the lock screen was also a huge hit. Whenever you need the timer it will always be on the lock screen for you, and whenever you finished with it the timer is easily silenced with one single tap. The information they receive on whether was also something people liked they now received accurate information and new info they didn’t receive before, like sunrise and sunset. This are some of the innovations people liked about the iOS 7.

 

 

 

NEW 15 INCH MACBOOK PRO WITH RETINA DISPLAY

Recently mac released an updated version of the 15 inch mac book pro with retina display. Although they are all 2013 versions of MacBook they still have the same 2880by1800 pixel resolution the older versions of MacBook pros with retina display had.  However the difference is seen under the aluminum surface of the MacBook. The new MacBook computer comes equipped with the latest quad core 2.3GHz Intel i7 (Haswell) processor. They replace the Ivy Bridge processors it had before. It also has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage. The thunderbolt ports were also replaced the graphics were also replaced, the rest stayed the same; the same 3.0 USB ports and headphone jacks being the same. The first MacBook had no discrete graphics hardware, but now it comes with two graphics processors the Iris Pro integrated graphics and an NVidia GeForce GT 750m with 2 GB of dedicated memory. Test shows that this graphics run better than the Intel integrated graphics 4000 used in odder computers, however technicians are working to make it better. Another great detail of the MacBook pro with retina display is its battery life. Test results show that it last 9 hours and 26min with one single charge, it lasted 2 hours longer than the earlier versions of MacBook’s. With improved battery life and faster processing and transfer of data it makes the MacBook pro with retina display a great computer for anyone.
