Alienware's Steam Machine

Alienware is a brand that is very well known for gamming in both pc and desktop. Many users consider it the best producers in gamming computers because of its excellent features and cooling system. Now Alienware will be pushing the boundaries of gamming once again.  Later in the year they plan to release there all new steam machine console. News from Alienware says that they have been working on the console for about four years in collaboration with Crytek and Valve to build their product. The prototype Alienware showed off measured approximately 8 by 8 by 3 inches, which is very comparable in size to the newest-generation gaming consoles, the Microsoft Xbox One and the Sony Playstation 4. The look of the console is very simple and great. The device box is all black with the Alienware logo and the steam logo on it which glow and change color. In the front unit houses two standard USB ports. Around the back, Alienware kept the I/O simple, with just two USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet and HDMI-out below two large vent outputs. At the top, the unit is coated in a soft touch finish. Too much information about the operating system hasn’t been revealed much of only that it will have an Intel CPU and NVIDIA GPU. More detailed specifications will come later. They claim that they have accurately tested different combinations of hardware in order to meet the expectations of the customers. And proven that NVIDIA’s technology aligns best with the Steam Machine criteria at this time. The consoles steam controller will be different from others it will bring two round track pads on either side, which is similar  to the scroll wheels on early-gen Apple iPods. The track pads are also clickable, and between the two track pads lies a high-resolution touch screen. Players can touch the screen during the game, browse available actions that come up, and then click on the one they want to use. Samsung is a popular brand when it comes to TV’s and phones. Many people don’t think that Samsung is good at making cameras. There new NX300 is about to prove them wrong. This camera comes with a 20.3 megapixel CMOS APS-C sensor. It uses contrast and phase detection to ensure a good quality picture. It can record a good amount of 8.6 frame pictures per second. However the camera still has some little defects to it. First you have to compose your images only on the 3.31 inch AMOLED display since you have no way to add an electronic viewfinder, doing so can be tough in direct sunlight. Also the battery doesn’t last long hours of shooting sessions. The camera comes in different colours which are white, silver, black and brown. The controls are well positioned and accurate for photo shooting. It even has a Wi-Fi direct link button that when pressed options to mobile link, remote viewfinder, auto backup, email, social networks and cloud storage appear for you to choose from. This function proved well with iOS devices, once you have a smart camera app you can interact with the devices with your iOS device. With the app you can use your device as a remote release with the remote view finder function. Bugs in the iOS 7

Some people who use the iOS 7 find that some of the features don’t work properly. One that people don’t like is the control centre easy access. It was designed for the person to swipe the screen from the bottom and it was supposed to appear, however sometimes it doesn’t seem to work and requires more than one swipe to be accessed. People also disapprove of the waste of space in the home screen. The screen can only display nine apps, compared to the older version that can display up to twenty apps. People now have to perform a number of taps and swipes just to access one app. Another defect the people found in the iOS 7 is the email groups in mail. The iOS mail has improved steadily on all updates however it doesn’t support sending to email groups, and the contacts app still doesn’t allow you to create this groups. Also the mail no longer puts the last used mailbox on top you need to scroll down every time. Apart from all this bugs people also complain about the accessibility of media. Before in the iOS 6 you could easily resume listening to your last played track by clicking on the home button and opening media control where you can easily resume your track. Now in the iOS 7 most people disable control centre for security reasons and can’t get access to their media control.  In order to do so you have to unlock your phone and open your music player to continue playing your music. For example if you are going to work and you need to call someone your will remind you of your agenda.  So if you often forget things this would be your new best friend. The timer on the lock screen was also a huge hit. Whenever you need the timer it will always be on the lock screen for you, and whenever you finished with it the timer is easily silenced with one single tap. The information they receive on whether was also something people liked they now received accurate information and new info they didn’t receive before, like sunrise and sunset. Test shows that this graphics run better than the Intel integrated graphics 4000 used in odder computers, however technicians are working to make it better. Test results show that it last 9 hours and 26min with one single charge, it lasted 2 hours longer than the earlier versions of MacBook’s.
