The MacBook Air has Wi-Fi for connecting to a network and Bluetooth for wirelessly connecting a peripheral. Connecting to an Ethernet network requires an Apple USB Ethernet Adapter. Thunderbolt is the Air’s high-speed connector. The laptop also has two USB 3.0 ports, which can work with USB 2.0 devices.
